![]() hi all, i must look at things wrong. i thought the only time you had to much fuel onboard is if you were on fire. my tanks are always full when i take off. i think the plane flys better when its heavy. when i am by myself it seems like the plane just floats forever. the trip is a lot more fun with friends along, and the plane just flys better (to me).

Full Fuel = Over Gross = No Insurance/Not Legal/Dangerous

I agree with Frank. Lots of time my load doesn't let me fill the tanks. I like to have 2-hours fuel margin (principally because of all the flying above water), but I want to be certain to be under gross.
