Installing a GoPro camera on the tail
Hello,
Does anyone have any experience installing a GoPro on the Skymaster? I have seen some footage of which it appears that the camera is installed on the tail but I am not sure of the mechanics of it. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Allen |

I have done it, though I'm not sure of the legality of it. But essentially it involves using one of the inspection panel screws to secure a GoPro mount of some kind. Then you just attach the GoPro to the mount, and that's all there is too it.
Now, as to what happens if it comes loose in flight, etc? That's another question. Since I wasn't comfortable with that issue, I removed it, returning everything to normal. But it seems like "this is what people do". Dan |
