Service Bulletins: Shall we subscribe?
Folks,
I talked with Cessna today, wound my way through the corporate maze. Everyone was actually quite helpful, and I have received permission to post service bulletins for Skymasters on this site. A subscription for these service bulletins is $88 per year. About the only way I can think of to do this is through donation. I will donate the time to scan the bulletins as they arrive. I will also scan bulletins from the beginning of 2002 if Cessna sends back issues as part of the subscription. Anyone who wishes to donate toward such a subscription, please send your donation, to: Kevin Mackenzie 39860 SW Snowcrest Dr. Cornelius, OR 97113 Please make the check payable to me. Please write "Service Bulletins" on the bottom of your check. If I receive more than $88 dollars, I will save the money to extend the subscription next year. When we reach $88, I will subscribe. As I receive each check, I will post a message on this thread indicating how we are doing towards the goal. If anyone has a paper copy of MEB02-7 that they can mail to me at the above address, the FAX copy I got did not scan the picture very well, I would like to improve the quality. Blue skies, Kevin |

I was afraid someone would ask that. It depends on how many people contribute. $5 to $10 seems reasonable. But if a large number of folks contribute, it will be way too much, I'll have to do refunds or something.
Too hard a question for me Guy...sorry. Maybe if folks post a message in this thread with how much they are contributing, once we get past $88, other folks can save their contribution until next year. Kind of like a signup sheet... BTW, I won't cash the checks until we get to $88. If not enough people contribute after a decent period, I'll just destroy the checks, you can deduct them from your register. As usual, I'm about 3 days behind on the board and just saw this thread. $10 on its way. Question: Will you accept PayPal? Moving money via internet is easy and I much prefer it to writing and mailing a check. But if you want snail mail . . . .

We are up to $50 in contributions so far, with more promised but not received yet. List of contributions received is on the home page of the site. Thanks to everyone so far, it looks like we are going to get there!

Well, you would have had my $10 by now if you had let me know if you take PayPal!! However, so as not to look like I'm a slacker, I've put the check in the mail a few minutes ago. This is truly a case of "the check's in the mail!"

Shall we subscribe?
Kevin,
I too have $10 heading your way. Living in Europe, if I can use PayPal to transfer the money, it would make things real easy. OK with you? Cheers! /Sten |
