Weather, ATC Failures Contributed to Skymaster Fatal Accident
The lead story in today's www.aero-news.net is NTSB's finding that ATC's failure to alert of extreme weather contributed to the downing of Michael Zinn's Skymaster in 2005 on a trip from Boca Raton, FL to New York.

Interestingly enough, AVWEB reported that NTSB reported the same contributing factor to Scott Crossfield's fatal crash. They included a link to the NTSB web site. NTSB's final report did, indeed, report both failure of the pilot to request and failure of ATC to offer severe weather information along the planned flight path to be contributing factors.
