Any Skymaster owners near Georgia
My father was a mechanical engineer working with Cessna in the late 50's and very early in 60's. He worked on the design team that developed the Skymaster. His particular area was the push/pull engine set up. It is something he has always been very proud to have been involved in.
Due to hearing problems he lost his pilots license I think in the early 70's. His interest in flying never stopped, he spent many years volunteering with his local EAA chapter in Marietta. He is now 85 years old. Long story short, I want to arrange for him to take a ride/flight in a Skymaster. Willing to pay fuel cost and reasonable compensation for time if necessary. Thanks Andy call/text if that is easier (three34) 652 - one 55 zero |

It gets a little tedious but you can search the FAA database
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinqu...t=337&PageNo=1 There are no phone numbers but if you know the airport sometimes you can get some info or a little searching on the internet can bring in some results

I'm based at KCHA and travel on business to KMCN about once a month. Would enjoy meeting, talking with and a ride with your dad. You can drop me an email at bking@king-industries.com.

What I never mentioned was that in 2009 my mom was diagnosed with ACC (Adnoid Cystic Carcenoma) She passed away in July of 2014, just 23 days shy of their 54th wedding anniversary. Its been along time since I have seen my dad genuinely happy. I have no way to repay you for putting a smile back on his face. You Sir, are an outstanding gentleman that took the time to make a difference. |
