WANTED- Door seals for a pressurized T337G
Hello, I'm new to the forum, thanks Herb! I have a '72 P337G and am in desperate need of door seals. Just over the last two years the current ones have lost their ability to seal and pressurize the cabin. Cessna no longer carries these seals: 1511446-1 and 1511418-1. Does anybody have any of these or know a source for the bulk material or suitable replacement? I'v searched many parts suppliers and salvage yards to no avail. Has anyone had any luck getting a field STC for a Bob Fields inflatable door seal on a 337? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Aeroval shows then at $3,130 each: https://aeroval.com/ref/936185/1511446-1/
Not sure if they have them in stock or not. Let us know what you find out. I would think you could use a similar seal from another pressurized aircraft. Last edited by mshac : 02-24-21 at 05:53 PM. |

Thanks!
Thank you! I will certainly report back whatever I find out. I knew that they would be expensive if they could be found...
Thanks again! Regards, John |

Because there is no solution I'm aware of, other than using seals from another pressurized aircraft. Check 400 series seals, my guess they will work. Let us know what you find.

I purchased one of these back in 2009 and it was specifically for a 337. Still installed and looks like Aircraft Spruce still sells them. They are special order only and no returns All the paperwork that came with it, installation instructions, was from Bob Fields

Door seal
Yes, I was able to source what appears to be a door seal for a Sky Rocket. It has been installed and works well. I asked the company that sourced it if I could provide their contact info on this forum so that others could get one and they said "no", that it was a one time "thing" and that they would not be sourcing anymore. Sorry.
What I would suggest is that you contact the aftermarket door seal companies and bug them to source one for you. You will probably stumble upon the same company I found. They were adamant that they didn't want me sharing their contact information because they weren't interested in procuring anymore. I know that doesn't help but I'm trying to honor my commitment to them and help you indirectly. |
