T337G Rear Turbo Charger Situation
Hi all,
I am working on a T337G Riley Rocket Skymaster and found a cracked rear turbo exhaust shroud. The rear turbo is not made or supported anymore. Cessna says that they don't have a problem putting the front turbo P/N C295001-0103 on the rear engine. After checking with my FSDO, they are requiring a field approval. They say a DER would have to sign off on the FAA Form 337 along with my signatures. I am wondering if any other owners or mechanics have gone through this process and would be able to share any documentation or advice concerning this situation. My email is aircraftsystems@sbcglobal.net. Thank you and Blue Skies |
