Nosewheel Ground/Towing Lock
Hi,
My 337G now lives in a hangar with a couple other airplanes and occasionally it is necessary for it to be moved by other people. My O-2 manual describes, and illustrates, a ground lock that can be inserted for towing that prevents the nose gear from retracting. My question is twofold - are there any differences between the O-2 nose gear and 337G nose gear that would prevent the use of this lock, and if not, would anyone happen to have a drawing from which to make one, or one I could copy, or one I could purchase? Thanks |

Same
I discovered that not too long ago in the O2 manual myself! I would be interested in a drawing to fabricate as well. Maybe Don Neiser has them?

Can anyone post any further documentation on these mythic nosegear ground locks? I use a lawn tractor to pull my G model all over the ramp & between hangars and its always a little disconcerting to pull on a nosegear that retracts forward.
