Reminder: This board operates under PFR

Once in a while, I like to remind everyone that this message board is moderated, and that it is operated under PFR: Polite Friendly Rules. Please be careful to make any messages you post to this board meet the following requirements:

1.) No personal attacks.
2.) Messages must be about Skymasters, O-2s, Skymaster/O-2 related activities or events, and/or aviation. Some exceptions will be made for lighthearted communication between us all as friends.
3.) Profanity should be avoided, although lighthearted (tasteful? is that possible?) use of profanity in and of itself will not be reason for censorship.
4.) We hope that messages posted here can maintain a polite and friendly tone.

Bottom line: As moderators of this board, I or my wife will read every message posted. If a message or thread takes us in a direction that we think is out of bounds, will will remove the message and request the author revise it.

To date, we have never had to remove a message. I hope we can continue to maintain this unblemished record. I would like us to avoid some of the rather dreary episodes that we went through on Peter's board once in a while.

As they used to say on MASH (and in the military): That is all.

PFR

PFR > polite friendly rules

This has board has been extremely professional with a very good group of owners and interested parties.

It is amazing what a little bit of moderation (or the threat thereof) will do to keep a board clean.

Bravo, you must be congratulated Kevin for the effort you have put into this board to make it what it is (and your other half who does a lot of the work).

Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause <seriously>

It is nice that we can all contribute in our limited capacity and for the efforts of GMAS........ Thanks Gmas...

Thumbs up It is you all... who make up the group.....

Bob... and others... it is not just me... it is all of the technical group that help make your questions get answered... truly it is a love of the aircraft and flying ... that we are seeing here... not to mention the people who are increasing their skills and abilities by learning from others and then passing this information along... its great to be able to sit back and read the mail... and see others that have had the same problems... relate their findings on to the newbeess... its really what its all about...

HELPING EACH OTHER....

And so their are some who have different ideas... but, hey thats what makes the world go round.. and keeps the OLD GUYS... from getting set in their ways... REVIEW is always good... QUESTIONS keep the mind active... and CHALLENGE causes thought....

But, ....

No matter what the area... it is good to have a place that one can go to be with others that are all in the same boat.... so to speak...smile...

Frendship.... is what comes from association...

and sure their are the ones that want just a quick fix...to sell their products... but, we are all owners and operators here... and while we all would like to fly longer, higher, faster and further on less money... I think the group has enough experanced personel now to... guide the newbee past the pitfalls.... and aligators... that could end up being costly or damaging out their...

Truly each of us are specialist... and as such are like spokes in the wheel.... with each contrubuting their part... even if its just asking a question... to make the wheel go round smoothly...

Keep up the good work all... After all we are the SKYMASTERS... smile.. GMAs
