Crosswinds

Had some nice crosswinds the other day - see attached. Total wind vector up to 72 knots at times.
Due to the unforecast headwinds I had pulled the power back to try to meet my goal of landing with an hour's reserve. It worked out fine.

Note that the TAS 156 kts minus the 26 knots headwind component shown in the lower left does not equal the 144 knot ground speed you can see on the top left.
That is because the 26 knot headwind component is based on aircraft heading (004), not track (030).
Headwind component of my track was 12 knots i.e. True airspeed of 156-GS 144 = 12 knots actual headwind component.
Was supposed to a tailwind so it was a bit of a long flight
