Oshkosh 2004????

Is there going to be a flying in of us 337 owners this year to Oshkosh? Having just bought mine I am anxiously awaiting the meeting of other owners and would like to camp with the rest of the 337 attendees.

IT'S ONLY ABOUT AN HOUR FLIGHT FOR ME
LARRY BOWDISH AND GERRY DESANTIS NORMALLY GO
I WILL TRY AT LEAST ONE DAY BUT DEPENDS ON WEATHER AND WORK. CAN'T SPEND THE WEEK THIS YEAR BECAUSE I AM ALREADY TAKING OFF TOO MUCH TIME. WEEKEND MIGHT WORK BEST FOR ME BUT I COULD MAYBE SNEAK AWAY MOST ANY DAY FOR THE QUICK TRIP OVER

LAST YEAR I WENT INTO APPLETON (GERRY'S ADVICE) AND ALMOST GOT RUN OVER BY A C172. AND THEN AFTER IT RAINED FOR 2 HOURS I CAM BACK TO LEAVE AND THE FUEL TRUCK GOT STUCK TRYING TO TOP ME OFF. ENDED UP USES ALMOST FULL THROTTLE TO GET OUT OF THE MUCK THEY PARKED ME IN AND THEN DIDN'T GET ANY FUEL. I HAD PLENTY BUT ALWAYS LIKE TO TOP EM OFF.

Jenny and I plan to be there for a couple or three days. She's told me which ones, but, alas, I am an old man... I forgot!

Wow! Tough Crowd this year planning to go to OSH. Right now, I'm planning to go, but don't have dates finalized . . . no, not dates like you're thinking about Larry, dates on a calendar. :->

I'm bringing a friend who has a 182 with low time and is bored with it and is looking for twins. And again, no Larry, not a set of Blond Swedish twins, a twin engine airplane. Specifically, he's contemplating a 337 for all of the right reasons. He's especially looking for one with an airstair door for his kids.

I'm going Tuesday through Friday morning. Would be nice to meet up with others and camp next door. Large contingent of 337's... Sure it going to be a long 2 months!!!
