front pop spinner crack
I landed tonight and thought, phew that trip is over...then the line guy asks me about a crack in my spinner. Thought he was kidding around, he was not. There is about 3" crack. I looked up the part number, 1557303-4 (superceded by -13). Before I make calls tomorrow, anyone know of legal fiberglass or carbon fiber ones? Or experience with a shop that does welds? I want to make arrangements tomorrow in hopes of flyig later int eh week.
...and yes, I know it will fly without a spinner, just not legal (don't ask me how I know ![]() |

scrap
sent in to ASEI for eval and bulkhead determined to be scrap, and spinner needed (their words, lots of TLC and they would not warranty it - plus take a week to process). So I found a spinner/bulkhead pair as removed that appears to be in good shape for $550. just letting other know in case they search the topic and looking for guidance...that's my PIREP
