Burned out flap indicator
I am trying to find a replacement for my flap indicator. The transmission unit went and fried the indicator. I got a new one from Faeth Aircraft but it was DOA and they don’t have another. Any suggestions. I have already replaced the transmitter.

Burned out flap indicator
Hello. I have a used one from my 1965 Skymaster. What year is your skymaster and I'll check to see if it will work on yours?

![]() Gunrunner99. I have one but don't know what it's worth? And not sure I want to part with it? The actual original part number is 1470049-3 and is superseded by 6247-00405. I've contacted Textron (Cessna) they don't have one currently but will quote me a price sometime today? Have you contacted companies like, Airparts of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania? I've purchased fuel sending units and indicator from them. I'm sure they can rebuild your flap gauge? I'll let you know what Cessna has to say about the gauge-soon.

Everyone I have contacted about rebuilding it has said they can not. I originally got it from Faeth in Sacramento. It was $175. But I think the mechanic hooked it up backwards and fried it.
