Elevator Trim Tab
Anyone recently rigged a 337G elevator trim tab? Followed the T. O. and still out 5 degrees nose up.

Have you replaced anything in the system, ie pulleys, chain etc

Elevator Trim Tab
No, nothing has been replaced. Cable tensions are good. The stop blocks on the cables are not the problem. Push rod in the jack screw has been adjusted in and out but that just reverses the problem from not enough nose up to not enough nose down. I suspect there is a problem in the manual trim wheel in the cockpit as the indicator wire will not go all the way to the bottom of the race and seems to go slightly higher than it should when rolled to full nose down.

I do not see how it can be that?
If the trim system is hitting the stops in the boom full movement should be measured on the tab with the flaps down and restricted nose up with the flaps up. Pete |
