Radio Control Skymaster
Hi all, new to this forum, and proud owner of an old kit for a scale-ish Skymaster from a company called Royal. 76 inch wingspan so somewhat smaller than your aircraft
![]() Couple of questions please: 1. what are the visual differences (except the u/c of course) between a 336 and a 337 (the only one I know if is more slant on the front cowl top on the 337 to improve visibility) 2. does any of you own a 336 with wheel pants and a nice colour scheme, and prepared to allow me to model my plane on their aircraft? Many thanks Chris Poulton Malta (Europe) |

Walt and Jean Simendinger have (or had) a gorgeusly restored 336. I'm sure they have pictures. They can be reached at 631-757-7567.

On the 336 there was no SCOOP fixed on the top of the rear cabin for the rear engine. There was a cowl door that opened to allow air to enter but was very similar to the cowl doors on the rear sides of the 337. This cowl opening faced forward like an open mouth to digest the air. I have photos but not with me, on the road right now. I will post some next week.
I have several good shots of Walt's 336 that Ernie mentioned. I will post also or you may be able to search this forum for 2007 SOAPA in Port Lucia Bahamas. i think I posted some photos there.
