Static visors
Hello ALL.
Has anyone had experience with the "slap-on" (Static) visors? Appreciate it. BILLS |

Used them in the past but as of recent, no. I have taken out of the plane as I have been carry them for the last 8 years and have not touched them. They do work but I guess I haven't had a reason to drag them out. As I recall you could get them for free as some companies offered them as gifts with their advertising on them.

I've used inexpensive ones for autos (from the baby-stuff aisle at Wal Mart) in my auto, in GA aircraft, and in the Lear. I found them to be a hassle to keep clean--and they must be clean to "cling"--but they aren't as effective as a US low chart at blocking out the sun! :-)

![]() Thanks you guys. I was just wondering if the visors are okay. I'm making two new visors on my Skymaster from the old ones, installing LONGER poly-plexiglass on them. Even though you NEVER have just the right amount of coverage, no matter how large you make them. So I thought I'd get some of the static panels to cover any areas that the plexiglass doesn't cover.
Thanks again, BILLS |
