Front Prop Cable Metal Sleeve
Does anyone know where this metal sleeve along the front prop cable (also one on the front mixture cable) is supposed to be? On my plane they are on the cable just forward of the firewall, but are not attached to anything and are completely visible forward of the firewall (there is about a 1/2" gap beween the engine side of the firewall and this sleeve).
I looked in both the parts manual and the maintenance manual and can't find anything. Thank you in advance, Kevin |

It’s a sleeve for going through the firewall

Yep, that sleeve on the front engine prop cable rests halfway through the firewall, pain in the butt to remove the alternator with it there.

I figured thats where they went. We will be sliding that sleeve back into the firewall.
