Solomon Islands
This must be the week for 0-2's.
Some time ago, someone wrote me about US AF 0-2 aircraft that had been donated to the Solomon Islands. At that time, the writer said one was in a rusty container. I have received, last night, pictures of the 2 0-2 aircraft. One is in sad shape, and one is in sadder shape. I don't know what it would take to get them in flying condition, if one could gain ownership. Here are the pictures. A Sad state of affairs for what were once 2 nice aircraft.

Time and Money
That's all it takes, and some passion. They really don't look that bad depending on the price. Are they for sale?

I'd like to have an hour alone with this plane...with a bunch of wrenches...and strip parts off this rust bucket.
