![]() GMAs, I am in 3rd. mailing Apr. 1st.1978. Mr. Whitaker (Dick) talks about a FLY IN for June or July, 1980 in Wichita, says not much at Liberal Kansas (his home) or back yard. They are talking with a Dave Franson who is in the public relations dept with Cessna, and he discussed this with Mr. Bill Boettger, Sr. V.P. Gen. Mngr. Pawnee Div. Hmmmmmmm. Great minds think alike!! They are planning 2 + years out. Will read more. Guy....old72driver....

I ATTENDED SEVERAL OF THE OLD 337 FLY IN'S. WENT TO MILWAUKEE ONCE IN '89. AROUND SOME AIRSHOW CALLED BYGOSH? ALSO JOINED THE GANG IN ALBUQUERQUE FOR THE AOPA CONVENTION. THAT MUST HAVE BEEN '90 OR '91. WENT TO WICHITA AND CESSNA WAS THERE. DON'T RECALL THE YEAR. I HAVE ALL THE LETTERS IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED.
MY VOTE FOR A FLY IN WOULD BE MCCALL, ID. NICE AREA EASY TO ACCESS. FROM THERE IF YOUR INTERESTED IS SOME OF THE GREATEST MOUNTAIN FLYING AROUND. 337 HANDLES THE BEST OF THEM VERY WELL. OR WE CAN JUST FLY TO A BACK YARD. |
