Want to Purchase Starter Adapter for TSIO-360AB
Anyone have any ideas on where to find a starter adapter? Mine is too far gone for overhaul, can’t find one at the usual online places.

What part number? I got mine from AERO in Granite City IL a few years back. Did you try them? Who have you tried? I have a 68 C model
Part number #646220-A54-O-C-E The nice part of this was I got 100% of my core back vs Niagara that seems to hold back for worn parts

I have a 1967 T337B. The engine is a TSIO-360AB. The adapter we pulled has part number 635048-A17. I'm told this is a "Classic" style adapter and that an interchangeable "New Style" part number is 646220A51.
I sent mine to a shop for evaluation. They are telling that the housing is about the only thing worth keeping, so it is beyond economical repair. I'll check AERO. I tried Niagara, Quality Aircraft Accessories, Aircraft Accessories of OK and about everyone I can find online that knows what this part is. No one has them, except for AC Spruce at slightly over $8k (!) for an overhauled unit. |

Looks like A.E.R.O. was bought out by Aircraft Spruce last year....
