Usually the #1 cyl on the rear engine has the factory CHT probe. If you have a JPI or GEM they will use a gasket probe or an adapter probe on that cyl. Our planes the # 2 on the front and the #1 on the rear will run @20-30 degrees hotter. But do check your baffling.
