basloane is an unknown quantity at this point
About 12 years ago, I redid my 1979 Turbo Arrow interior. I took lots of pictures and drew arrows on some to identify the types of material I wanted in each location.

The materials arrived from Airtex about 4 weeks later, and all fit perfectly. The attention to detail was incredible and when I was finished, it looked as if it truly was a factory interior. It looked great.

I would think seriously however if you were thinking of doing the work yourself. It took me about 4 weeks of evenings and weekends to finish the job. Working with spray contact cement is truly an art. LUCKILY, my headliner was in good condition. I did however elect to repaint the plastic trim around the windows. Finding the special paint to bond to Kydex took a while, but eventually found the right stuff ( methyl Chloride based ).

( If I had it to do again ) unless you are specifically interested in projects like this I would strongly consider having a professional shop do it, or even Airtex themselves do it.

Best wishes,.......Barry Sloane N187
