Thanks for response guys, prize goes to GMAS the best clue was the "Cessna Avionics Installation Book" it gave all the information needed to complete the installation.
Interesting that the Cessna distributor here (for 40 years or more) would not give a definitive answer, hence my call for help on the board.

Don't suppose we have reconsidered Tasmania as a meeting place ?
