Switch pnael lights

I've tried seaching the other forums with no success for a source for the electroluminescent switch panel in the 337G. Either replacement or repair thereof.

I am a pure novice at knowing how to search the forums!

I'm curious....anybody ever see one of these work? I have owned my airplane for 7 years and I have seen mine flicker once or twice. It seems to me I remember being told by someone (but of course I cannot recall who) that these are almost impossible to make functional. Any comments?

Is this a dimmer switch? I am not following the unit you are referring to.

are you looking for an electroluminescent panel for the switch panel?? Like in cars??
There are no manufacturers of those for aircraft. The lighting is supplied by an LED embeded in the panel, with a power supply, for all the lights.

In volume, these are inexpensive, the costly part is the regulated power supply. Again, in volume the cost is low.
Getting is approved would be very difficult.
There are people who provide electroluminescent panels, that can light up the switch panel.

You might want to talk to Ken Whitaker ( Sales@SPTPanel.com ). Ken is based at Chesterfield Airport and manufactures both Electroluminescent strips and LED with fiber optic lighting.
