Panel lights
This is the panel at the pilot's knee that lights up the mag switches, clowl flap switches and all the other switches, etc. I don't really know what I'm talking about but I was told it is a sandwich type of panel and that when one puts 110 volts to it it lights up. It is connected to the panel light dimmer (which works fine.) I don't think it is LED but I may be wrong. The power supply is an inverter to provide 110 volts I have been told.
Mine has been out for 11 years. Thanks, Jim Stack, I'll contact Ken Whitaker. |

Panel lights
Larry's suggestioin may be the best - don't try to repair or replace the thing, just get a string light above the panel to light it up. I'm sure this is the least expensive way to go.
