VGs
Getting my plane painted right now in FL (yes, it must be cold in hell right now)
As part of the install, having an ISA throw on the Micro VGs I purchased at OSH last year. He tells me it will be about 15 hrs. The paperwork from the mfg says it is 'ane easy 1 day installation'. Just trying to get an idea of timing from others. Anyone else get this one on their plane (again, keep in mind that the plane will start out already primed, but not painted, when he gets them ready to install. -Robert |

How exciting Robert, what paint scheme are ya going with?
I haven't had any experience with the VG's but you are doing it at the right time. I would think that the manufacturer of the VG's would be the best source of the time to install.

It took about a day to have the micro's installed on mine. And part of that time was spent on removing the paint under each location prior to application. If your plane is already stripped the job should actually take less time.

Looking good Robert. That is very cool that you have the O2 door.
