DrDave is on a distinguished road
Hello:

I can't help with the tow bar but I can tell you about my new ladder. I had a wooden step ladder for years. When I got up toward the top steps it was more like a dance partner than a ladder. I bought a DeWalt 3030 series 5' step ladder. It is the 300 pound rating with steps on both sides. It is very sturdy. The little light weight ones are not confidence inspiring. If you are looking for a ladder to take with you a 3' fiberglass would be ideal. The 3' glass ladder is not a featherweight ladder. I like a solid platform to stand on. I bought the 3' model for doing windshields and oil in the rear engine. My in the shop, go-to ladder is the 5'.
