CBP Decal Sticker Update
All,
I applied for the required CBP sticker the second week in November and JUST TODAY got notice that it would be sent to me via the expedited shipping I'd requested. Note: thats almost 3 months. Wow. Originally I had planned to fly to the Bahamas for the xmas break but as it happened I broke my leg and so wasn't flying anywhere. I had requested both CY 2018 and 2019 stickers to cover both sides of the break. Lesson: if you plan to cross a border, make sure you get your sticker without a government shutdown to mess it up. Plan early. Tim

12” identification markings for border crossings?
What size identification letters are you guys using for your airplanes? I have 10 inch letters and will argue that ICAO requires 12” or the largest size that will fit, and 10” are the largest size that do not wrap around the boom. Has anyone had customs problems with 10” markings?
