Is there a way to lookup options by serial number?
I would also maybe look through the logs and see if there are any clues there. I would think the gauges would need to match what you have. I have a 67’. The 2 sets of gauges match the usable tank capacities.

If your 1967 is equipped with long range tanks will have
1) Main tank on the outer part of the wing - fill near landing lights 46 gallon 2) Aux tank between the boom and fuselage 18 gallon 3) Fuel gauge for main tank - labeled fuel - marked 10 /20/ 30 / 40 gallons 4) Fuel gauge for aux tank - labeled aux fuel- marked 5 / 10 /15 gallons 5)Fuel selector - off / main / aux

Thanks everyone for the replies. I have two gauges - one for the left side and one for the right, each maxing out at 59.5 gal/354 lbs.
Both fuel selectors only have L-Off-R. There is no Aux option. There is also only one fill point on each wing. |

Yes yours only has one fill with three or four tanks interconnected can't remember. If you need full tanks. Fill one side full then go fill the other tank then come back to the first tank and top up then go to the other and top it up It takes a bit for fuel to flow between tanks

Thanks Frank. So am I correct that there would be a sender in each tank, however many tanks there are, as well as a monitor on each side? I'm trying to understand the pennycap system to get a better idea on what it would take to put in the CiES senders and a new fuel gauge.
Do you have a parts catalog. All the info will be in their. I sold my 73P model in 1994 cant remember that far back Last edited by Frank Benvin : 08-27-20 at 12:42 PM. |
