SkyMaster Airframe AD's
Attached is an applicability list of AD's which apply to the 337 airframe. This was compiled by researching the ATP Navigator list. I think I have included all models of the 337 (I didn't know there were so many of them). If I have missed any that you are aware of, please respond to this thread and I will look again and update the list.

More AD Stuff
OK, You liked it, so here's more...
I am attaching a new spreadsheet for AD effectivity. Note that it has a second tab (Descriptions). All 18 Skymaster Airframe AD's are listed here with a brief description of each as well as the date issued and reference documents. I assume the reference documents are Cessna documents which will be available on the Service Bulletin subscription. Again, I gleaned all the AD notes from the ATP Navigator package. I don't think there is any problem with this as the AD's are in the public domain (Government Published). If you have doubts, feel free to contact ATP, but I don't think it is really necessary to get their permission to publish AD's. I am also including a copy of all 18 AD's (even the superseded ones). Hope these will be of benefit to the group. The Disclaimer at the top of each AD is mine. Jim

nice work jim.
i never bothered to look up the ad's and your post got me courious. mine is a 1973 reims f337gp and the faa ad list only show #76-04-02 (arc pa-500a actuators); however your list shows 2000-06-01(fuel strainer assy),97-01-13(check oil,hyd and fuel hoses) and 87-20-03 r2(seat tracks). am i misunderstanding something, or just plain confused? if you can de-befuddlle me it would be appreciated. rick |

F337GP AD info

I have reviewed the ATP package and this is what I found: ATP's index of applicable AD's for the "Reims Pres SkyMstr F337GP" lists: #76-04-03 Preclude Restrictions of Control... Internally AD includes F337GP FP3370001 thru FP3370015 #87-20-03 R2 Assure proper engagement of seat locking... Internally AD does not specifically list F337GP, but lists FP337 - All, Also Lists F337G All This AD applies to seat locking mechanisms and seems to apply to nearly all Small Cessna Aircraft 97-01-13 Prevent Fuel, Oil or Hydraulic Systems Failure... Internally AD does not specifically list F337GP, Does list FT337GP - Also seems to apply to nearly all small Cessna aircraft 2000-06-01 Prevent Foreign Material from entering... Internally AD does not specifically list F337GP, Does list F337G and FT337GP Relates to length of standpipe in fuel strainer Kevin has posted text from all the 337 Airframe AD's on the site in a Zip file. You may want to download that and review the info yourself. I'm sorry I can't decode all of this for you, but I have no idea how these models break down. Also, I don't know if AD's for aircraft that are used as the base for a modified model apply to the modified model. It could be that in order to get the modified designation the AD's of the basic model have to be complied with. The only exception to that is the recurring one (87-20-03 R2). Reims could have done a complete revision of the seat rails. I'd suggest that you talk to your (most) local FSDO and Reims. Good luck... I'm sorry I can't offer more. Jim

Reims built 337's were TC, (Type Certificate) A23EU, not A6CE. I think I have the numbers correct. Apparently the FAA does not issue AD's for foreign TC's any more.
This also means that STC's approved for 6CE can only be applied to Reims machines by way of Form 337, Field Approval, something I am hitting now. According to my FAA freinds, Reims owners would be advised to follow the AD's etc for 6CE and apply them to 23EU at least in spirit. ![]() Regards - Dave |

I had opportunity to look up the F337GP using the Summit package. It seems to agree with your original concept. It only listed AD 76-04-03 as being applicable to that model.
Both systems confirmed that the Reims models were licensed under Type Certificate A23EU (The Cessna built 337s fall under Type Certificate A6CE). Dave Underwood had told us that the A/C were built under different TC's. Dave... Your TC numbers were correct. Thanks for giving us that information.
