100W in summer- 50W in winter
Hi guys,
I have used 100w Aeroshell in summer and 50w Aeroshell in winter here in Pennsylvania. It gets well below zero many days in winter here, while summer gets in the 80-90's. I also pre-heat the plane in winter once it gets to freezing. I put ceramic heaters and blankets on 337 the night before I fly, so it is nice and warm the next day. I also use a torpedo 25,000 BTU heater to warm hanger and plane when I get to hanger, so interior is also warm. Dale Campbell |
