Insurance & TRIA
Just renewing my insurance in Canada. Insurance company mentions Terrorisom Risk Insurance act.
I can get liability insurance for act of terrorism for only double my regular liability cost. Is this somthing that is required when flying in the USA. I haven't been across the border since 9/11 because of the hassles involved. Frank |

No... This is a scam! You are not liable for what someone else does with your property if they have stolen it. So long as you were not negligent in securing your property in the first place.

I get my insurance thru COPA which is like AOPA
Go to http://www.copanational.org/non-members/index.htm Click on insurance on top right corner Click on COPA Aviation Brochure 2006 and go to page four and you will see the information on TRIA Frank |
