N6276f
Hey everyone,
Is the owner of N6276F out there? The reason I ask is that I found a photo of this Skymaster on Airliners.net and I like the paint scheme. If the owner or anyone else has some more pictures of this paint job, I'd like to see them. Hopefully a paint job is in the near future for N53687, and I'm collecting ideas. Thanks, Todd |

Todd here is the info on this airplane from www.faa.gov. If you go to this web-site and right in the middle of the home page you can type any N-number and see who the airplane is registered to. Maybe this will help you. Good Luck. Ed

Thanks Ed,
I should have indicated that I had already looked up the owner on the FAA's web site. I just thought I would also try this forum before mailing him directly. Thanks, Todd |

Or call him. This comes from www.whitepages.com and is probably him or a relative:

When I had my aircraft painted the paint shop had a connection with a local individual that matched a scheme exact. She has a computer program and it does amazing detail. Just give her the ideas and she will make it just like you want it. Then the paint shop follows in suit. I'll suggest the shop I worked with because they are one of the best sleeper shops in country but Michigan might be a little unrealistic. I would suggest that you try to find a shop close enough to keep a close eye on the progress. It makes a huge difference when you can be on site 3 or 4 times (or more) a week. Some of the perceptions of what they were going to do was completely different from what I wanted and I would not have caught any of that if I had not been there on site. Just some thoughts from recent experience. That is a nice paint scheme, the photo is in my Thanksgiving video on You Tube.

Thanks Herb,
I always look forward to your postings and replies. I agree with the suggestion to find a shop close enough to visit often. I recently had some mechanical work done out of state. The shop is very reputable, however, it took longer than planned and when I got it back, everything wasn't quite as expected. In their defense, they are going the extra mile to make everything right. I hope to see your Skymaster in person at Sun-n-Fun. Todd |
