fuel quantity
Hi all,
From my information it would appear that all the early model Skymasters , from the 336 thru 72 337's had 93 gal tanks.(92 usable) With the optional aux tanks installed they had 131 gals(128 usable) I think this might be where the 118 number might have fallen through the cracks of someones memory !!!! All most interesting tho rodc |

Fuel Qty
I have 337G, it has 123 gal total fuel with 118 gal useable (446.6 litres) The aircraft also has 3 tanks in each wing I know 'cause one of them cracked and had to be welded, this is what was known as long range fuel before the 4 tank system, I wonder what extra load this puts on the outboard area of the wings when aircraft is at rest ?
