"V" Style VOR antenna

Hello ALL.
Got a question. Does any body or every body have the "V" shaped VOR antenna mounted on your C337? Currently I have a Dorne & Margolin DMN 42 antenna mounted on the vertical stabilizer and it old and heavy, I'd like to install the lighter "V" style, common on single engine Cessna. What do you think?
Thanks as usual!

The "V" antenna you describe sounds like what I have on my 73G SkyMaster.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY.
I am talking about the thin stainless steel whiskers with a round plastic attached in the middle. Did you see the picture I sent?

I did see the photo. I suppose I should have said the photo appears very similar to what is on my plane. I cannot say for certain because I would have to remove the fin cap on top of the vertical tail to see if the mounting is the same. The "V" whiskers are on my plane so I ASSUME???? the mounting is the same but not certain.

Thanks.
I was asking for the purpose of finding out if the C337's tail vibrations are better or worst since the "V" antenna was installed? I have seen videos of the tail section on the C337 and it seems to bounce around pretty good? With the addition of this type of antenna it seems that type could possibly cause MORE vibrations. Does these questions make any sense?

I am not too qualified to comment on what vibration characteristics these antennas may or may not cause on the tail of our SkyMasters. I wish I could be more helpful but this is beyond me. Sorry!

Bill
I have the V antenna on mine original. No adverse issues that I am aware of. Very common antenna for this bird

Mark Hislop is an unknown quantity at this point
The "V" style whisker antennas at the top of the vertical stabilizer on my Skymaster (and I suspect all others) are mounted differently than those shown in your photos. Each antenna (whisker) is mounted in a nylon insulating block, which in turn mounts to the vstab structure. This is all hidden beneath the plastic fairing.

Thanks for the information. I'll have to see if I can "fit" the one I have to my bird?
