Chains for lower clamshell door fixed
Finally found simple solution to door chains getting caught in door- I don't know if any one else has that problem but having to lean over unfamiliar passengers to manipulate the rear chain so it didn't get caught between the door and door seal has been a long standing problem for me. I used a stiff spring inside the chain cover attached by the door frame going almost half way down the chain so that when the door is closing, the spring (the cover of one of those grabber things about 3/8 inch in dia.) straightens out holding the chain in toward center of door. The spring is attached under the seat with a little bracket.
