WTB late model P337 or Super Skyrocket

I'm in the market to buy a P337 or possibly Super Skyrocket sometime this year (but am ready to buy now).

Not really looking for a "project" airplane, and am wary of previous damage history. Am not deterred by paint/interior or avionics deficits, but want a good solid bird and power plants.

If you reply here, I will receive notification of it, and will respond. I'm very grateful for the wealth of information available on this site.

Thanks

I will have a 1974 T337G Pressurized for sale after it completes a rather extensive annual. Both props and governors overhauled in 2017. Front engine Overhauled 2017 at Corona engines. Kniesley overhauled the front exhaust 2018. Main turbo did the front turbo. The rear engine has less that 200hrs since overhaul (2010). Reily intercoolers and air conditioning. Bob Fields door seal (the non-AD model). Garmin 430 (non-WAAS), KNS80, King HSI. Cessna 400A. Landing gear completely gone through 2017 (new hoses, etc). JPI 790 twin engine monitor (LCD model).

Paint and interior are good. No boots or hot prop. Has STOL kit. Bought this plane to haul my family around and spent lots of time and money getting it into shape but lost my job and can no longer afford to continue to upgrade this plane. I can get photos and logs posted. I need to take current ones but I have some older ones. Let me know if you want more info. I was planning on listing with a broker once the annual is complete, so if I sell it before I list with a broker the price will be lower.

I'm interested. Please text me at eight-oh-eight tree-fower-seven tree-oh-six-niner so we may discuss (sorry - am trying to avoid my number being swept up by spam engines).

Thanks

Dan

Well, it took a couple of months, but today was the day I took possession of my new (to me) 1974 Pressurized Skymaster.

I purchased N70S from szwinger, after he replied to my want-to-buy post in January. The aircraft was in the middle of an extensive annual, so it took until now for us to be able to complete the transaction.

I am very happy with the aircraft, which on the first flight, performed a little better than book in terms of speed (when referenced to power settings and fuel flows). Of course, the aircraft was a couple hundred pounds under gross, so that helped.

At 12,500 feet, 33"MP, 2450RPM, 80pph fuel flow per engine, 2 Celsius, TAS showed as 190kts, which is right on book. Hopefully tomorrow will show how she does at 17,500 (had headwind today, so stayed low. Tailwind tomorrow hopefully, so will go high).

Thanks to all who have supplied information on this board. It was all very useful as I came to my purchase decision.

Dan

That's a great airplane. I wouldn't mind having it back. I sold it to Steve.

I must admit, I'm 100% happy with the aircraft so far. Thank you (and Steve) for all the care taken.

I did. See post #4 in this thread for details of my purchase of N70S, a 1974 Pressurized Skymaster.
