Giving Up My License, Selling My 1977 337G
After 21 years with 3 Skymasters -- and extensive involvement with SOAPA -- I'm giving up my license and selling my beloved 1977 337G. The combination of age (77 years) and getting rusty due to little flying because of Covid, have caused my skills to deteriorate and I don't wish to put my family at risk, especially since virtually all of my flying is over water. I've listed details of the aircraft in the other SOAPA Message Board for aircraft sales, if anyone is interested. I've participated with the same mechanic in all of the maintenance of all 3 Skymasters (I have a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech), so whoever gets it will have a solid aircraft with modern avionics (Garmin GTN650 and GTX335).

Sorry to hear this, Ernie. You will be a loss to the Skymaster community. Best wishes on the sale of your plane.

If Herb Harney, who's the principal SOAPA person, will let me, I'll still participate and try to help out.

Thank you Ernie for your participation over the years! Good Luck my friend and hopefully you continue to enjoy your beautiful car that you posted a few months back. Enjoy your retirement from flying. Think of all the money you'll be saving! ;o)
