OSHKOSH 2021 Who's going and when?

We are planning on flying into Oshkosh this year. We plan to arrive Sunday morning and leave on Wednesday. This will be our first time to attend and fly in. Who else is going?

Do y'all fly in at 1800' and 90 kts or 2300' and 135 kts?

We will be camping with the plane in the General Aircraft Camping. N53510

Hope to see many of you there.

Tripp

Dates are July 26, 2021 - August 1, 2021.

My son has mentioned wanting to go. We should try to park as close as we can. I would love to see a "Skymaster Row"!

Last time I went, I was flying a 172 and there was no parking left at Oshkosh so we camped at Fon du Lac to the south, and took a shuttle.

I'm betting turnout this year is going to be HUGE.

We are going to be there with N455WC, but not sure if we will stay at Green Bay or bring it over at some point. We have flown both the 1800/90kt and 2300/135kt arrival and it was very nice to stay up above the bulk of the traffic on the faster one.

I will be in Camp Schollar for the whole week, air conditioned motor home, that's the only way Tammy will go with me. Would love to meet up with Skymaster Folks. Could host a burger night if you guys want to get together that way. Maybe Tuesday night would work..

Osh

Herb has a lot of experience going into OSH. I normal get a reservation time for arrival and Flyin under IFR flight plan. Very simple. I park at the FBO there. Need to reserve parking spot with them. I don't like parking on the grass. Don't know if you will have rainy weather.

Speaking as someone who has managed to get his P337H stuck in a soft field, this is great advice!!! Wasn't stuck when I parked it, but then it rained...

So I just spoke with the FBO. Ramp parking still available at $60/day. I assume no camping out on the ramp, so what is the best plan for a place to stay? I liked the idea of camping, but I also like the idea of not getting stuck in the mud!
