Exclamation Latches are adjustable

That is not normal for a 337. My doors close and lock perfectly.

The key to solving your issue is LATCH ADJUSTMENT. I learned this working on a 172 door. The latches have an adjustment capability, and this simply appears out of adjustment. Check the service manual for procedures, but this is something that could be fixed quickly by someone with experience. Flying a P-model as I do, its critical that the doors close properly.
