Small Ladder
I found a lightweight, three-step, ladder on eBay that has already proven itself for me. I do not like flying without looking in my fuel tanks nor guessing if I'm going to spill a quart of oil on top of the rear engine. It's rated for 330#, mine weighs less than 5 pounds and fits easily across the back of the aft bulkhead. I lay it flat on the floor and place a storage box and bags between the legs and rungs. No wasted space.

very useful! I had been using a fold flat plastic stepstool from walmart...shorter than this.

Three Step Ladder available on Amazon
I ordered the ladder on ebay - it does seem like a very nice lightweight little ladder. But, I noticed that the ebay seller shipped it from Amazon for about a $10 markup. You can get it directly from Amazon too and if prime - no cost quick ship https://www.amazon.com/REDCAMP-Alumi...dDbGljaz10cnVl

Small Ladder
Hello. FYI. I purchased a ladder similar to the one shown on Amazon. I think I bought mine from True Value hardware store. Paid $28 and since in was in the store-no shipping! I'm short, 5'2" and needed a longer ladder, this one I bought, is 38" tall, it weights 5 pounds, and I place it between the center seats with the legs against the back firewall. The top of the ladder sticks up 3" above the center seats. No problem with PAX in those seats. Good luck.

Another one on Amazon
Can't find anything USA-made, but here's another one on Amazon that works well for the Skymaster when out airplane-camping or at fields with no services. This ladder fits snugly when centered and upright against the back wall of the cabin. I wedge it there with baggage and it's just tall enough for me (5'10") to reach & dip the fuel filler caps & rear engine oil cap (but NOT tall enough to see into them).

Alternate color to one on Amazon
Responding to Learjetter provided link - If you are not particular about color - the woodgrained pattern version is on sale. That's what I bought. Just open original link and you'll see the color option. Twenty bucks cheaper at $69.99

I too like to visually verify the blue gas. I just ordered this telescoping stepladder:
https://www.amazon.com/BEETRO-Telesc.../dp/B08ZS4V6XX Hopefully it works well and stows easily. I will report back when I receive it. DD

Besides Oshkosh and Sun 'n Fun, where do you go airplane camping? I'm not too far south of you, I'd be interested in this!
