Yeah she's currently on the N-Reg and putting it onto the G would be a huge pain in the ass as you've got to go back throuygh the logbooks and apply for each modification to be approved with the US STC certificate as a justification. Then (and only then) can you do the required maintenance to sign it off. 2-Reg is a good option that i've looked at however only realy viable once it's an airworthy annualed aircraft.

The UK isn't super hospitable to N-Reg aircraft and I can understand why they have a problem with based aircraft flying under a foreign reg and maintenance schedule operating in the UK. Especially given the flexibility of Part 91. However the CAA don't help themselves by making it so restrictive to move the aircraft over.
