removing front alternator
TO Joes.
Thanks for the reply for removing the alternator! Here's what I found while remove the alternator. I took a 1/2" BOX END WRENCH ground 1/2" notch in the end to allow it to be used like an open end wrench but with the ability to make small turns of the nut that an open end wrench won't allow. Does that make any sense? FYI-It took almost as long to remove the terminal connections (45 minutes) VS removing the mounting nuts (1hour)! Thanks again, Regards. To Cessnadriver
The road gets made by walking it .... becoming creative is necessary to owning a 337. That's why this website is so valuable, from the past authors to the present, we all will eventually walk the same path. Joe

Reminder: there’s recommendations regarding the alternator coupling. When I did my front alternator, I upgraded the coupler. Prior owner had his rear alternator seize, gears stripped and engine seized on climb out. So I changed to the other “slip” style coupler.
