Rear Prop Wanted
I am looking to obtain a pusher CSU Prop for an experimental. The 337 unit looks ideal. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to get hold of one, and what are they worth?
I've never been in a push pull but they look good. Are they better than wing mounted twins? Are the props contra rotating? Are there any peculiarities to the type? Thanks. |

Okay, yes they are better because they have no VMC,with one engine dead, the speed at which on a SBS twin you flop over on your back and die. real bonus. the props are c/r, so no P factor on take off. the only real peculiarity is that you can lose an engine, and then they fly like a heavy 182. oh, did i mention, inherently safe? did i mention fly over lake michigan, at night, and not worry abt engine failure (big thing to worry abt with only 1) i guess you could say i am partial to them. |
