Stolen
Keep your airplanes LOCKED. Three airports in Oklahoma have been broken into over the last few months. At the Perry airport F22, they (he) only took the good headsets & hand held GPS's. They (he) took 2 of my David Clark headsets (from 2 different locations on the airport) & my Garmin GPS II. The padlocks on the hangers were cut off to gain entrance. If the hanger had a dead-bolt they (he) didn't get in.
So if anyone out there has any USED David Clark head sets for sale, I am in need. I would also like to have another hand held GPS (Garmin GPS II would be fine). Fuel prices are high enough ($3.70) without this added cost of stolen equipment. Thanks Fred N358

Fred,
I have a Garmin 295 GPS that worked when I took it out of my airplane when I sold it. I would sell it for $320 if that interests you. By the time I can afford an airplane again, it will be time to buy a new one, so no point in my keeping it... Kevin |

You know its just hard to tell. I have had a skymaster parked on the ramp at RDU for 3 weeks with a 1000 dollars worth of headsets and 25000 dollars worth of avionics (2 garmin 430's and asorted other expensive crap) and nobody messed with it and it was never even locked!!. When your numbers up its up other wise don't waste your time. Just my 2 cents. Do you really think you are in control? Get a grip!!!
