336 Tips
Mr. Grant, thanks very much for the insight regarding the care and feeding of our 336. During my phone conversation with you I recall that the important points were:
Checking the baffling around the rear exhaust where it exits the cowl and checking to torque the nuts that hold that exhaust Y every two weeks. Holding 15" MP steady during the approach to enhance elevator authority and control descent with the front. Max of 20 degrees of flap for take-off. Keep on top of mangeto and fuel system maintenance. Lead with the rear prop. Keep a spare. Don't feather it on the ground. Check to insure free reverse travel on the starter motor. Did I miss anything?
