LED-Lights

Can anyone tell me if there is an LED light that can replace the under the wing light on the co-pilot's side. I know about the other light I can purchase from Knots2U, but I would like to replace the original one also, if I can. It does not take long for that light to burn out and become useless.

Thanks,

Karl

Here is the Whelen PMA'd replacement.

I have had the GE 4594 100W bulbs (2 on each side) for around 4 or 5 years without replacing them. I have the pulse light selector and I use them day and night, smooth or rough field. Why are you blowing your bulbs? I would like to have the LED but I just can't justify the price when a $16 bulb lasts for over 5 years. The amperage drop with the LED is huge. I have the LED position lights and LED beacon. Love them and the drop in amperage is unbelievable.

Here is a demo

Hi Herb,

I replaced all my lights with LEDs or HID for the Taxi and Landing Light. It seemed like everytime I went out to the airplane, one of my lights had burned out. I love these new lights.

I'm looking for the one light that is underneath the co-pilot wing that shines toward the ground. It is connected to the same switch that turns on the cabin lights.

LED Courtesy Light

Hey Karl
Not why your bulbs are blowing but something must be wrong.

Here's the LED I have for courtesy at night. It's battery operated with a timer and two settings. It's nice because you don't have to turn on the master

Whelen Beacon

Herb do you have the red/white Whelen tail beacon eg. http://www.knots2u.net/whelen-led-be...model-9052001/ ?
Is that legal or should it be all red?
Thanks Herb

Mine is ALL red. You can check Whelen's site for applicability. They have all the approvals on their site. I love mine, it is so bright especially nice in the daytime as it is very recognizable in the daylight.

I can look up for you if needed, LMK

cheers
