EI gauges

Kevin,

What you might do plug-in all the parameters for your bird on the Trade-A-Plane website's NAAA Evaluator and see what comes up.

Regarding your panel, over on the left side you must have one of the EI Super Clocks, but what is the other EI instrument beneath it? And how do you like the clock?

It is an EI EGT/CHT/TIT guage. Dual readout, 8 probes per engine (so only have CHT on one cylinder each engine). Other analyzers are probably better, but this is small, fits nicely into my panel.

EI Superclock is excellent. Has:

Altitude alerter
OAT (F and C)
Current time (home time zone or Z)
Elapsed time

all in one instrument. Elapsed timer is connected to squat switch, so it starts timing the flight automatically every time I take off. The alerted is connected to an EI voice alerter that I have set to chime for the altitude, but which will also say "Check Altitude if I wanted that". The voice alerter also says things like "Check oil pressure", "Check bus voltage", and if I wanted to wire it (but have not) "Stall", "Check gear", etc. Again, I really like it because it is easy to use, and takes up very little panel space for several functions.

Bob Cook is an unknown quantity at this point
superclock

Second that Kevin

Mine is connected to a second blind encoder and transponder. Very easy to use, easy to see and it works as a second altitude alterter. I set this 200 ft above MDA as reminder... works every time. It also has OAT. This replaced the original OAT relieving another instrument hole.

fyi
