Green light goes out after landing

My gear down and locked green light goes out after I touch down. Anyone ever had this problem?

The kick in the pants is, the light will only turn green again if I manually pump the gear doors open while on the ground -- or cycle gear in the air.

I thought it might be the downlock switch, but the mains check good...still need to look at the nose gear. However, that doesn't explain why it would "reset" after pumping the doors open on the ground -- either the gear down switch is engaged or it's not?

Anyone?

Sounds to me like a bad wire to your nose gear squat switch.

Sound to me like you have either a rigging problem on the main gear downlock switches or the nose gear is just not making the downlock switch.
Chech the wiring around the nose gear, make sure it is good condition.

Need to jack the a/c and carry out a gear up/down cycle, if you get no green light it is very easy to operate each downlock switch or move wiring to find the problem.

I wiggled all the wires and switches for the main downlocks, but have yet to sqeeze into the nose wheel area. So I'll try it next. Thanks
