Help!!

I am in need of the same thing, same P/N.

Turns out my heating element(s?) are missing, and the wire has been capped/stowed.
I assume I also need the little thermostat deal-ie-oh on the bottom?

So Cessna wants $1324 for a heating element? You may want to consider going the "owner produced part" route. The laws of electricity aren't any different just because its an aircraft part. There is a wire, or coil, that has a specified length and resistance, to produce a specified amount of heat at 28 volts dc input. These values may be obtained, and copied by the owner to produce his own replacement part.

Finally, have you called all the airplane Junkyards? Off the top of my head: 1. Air Salvage of Dallas (ASOD) 2. Texas Air Salvage 3. White Industries Air Salvage 4. Dodson Air Salvage - There are many more smaller ones too.

Here is a pic from the other thread. It appears to be made of orange cowl seal siliconed around the pitot, with holes drilled for the pitot inputs and two screws. Nothing too high-tech, but there is a thermostat in the circuit as well that will have to be located if you don't have it. The original is out of production, but I'm certain a replacement is easily available as long as the on/off temp of the original part is known.
